20 Bible Verses About Patience

Bible verses about patience: Find hope in the Lord

One of the areas I’m constantly working on is how to be patient and trust in God’s timing.

At times, the waiting process is hard and discouraging. I get tired because I don’t see any tangible results and ask myself “Where are you, God?”. That’s when I like to look at bible verses about patience.

In moments when we feel pressured to give up and turn our backs on Christ, we have to remember that this season is important for our growth. Whether you desire to be married and are asking God to find the one, or are heartbroken and ready to break a soul tie to your ex.

Keeping our eyes on God will serve to build perseverance, commitment, and real joy. It will enable us to connect with Him on a deeper level through His word

During my many struggles with being single or feelings of loneliness, I have found that meditating on God’s word helps.

Reading, journaling, or even memorizing helpful scriptures on patience reminds me that God has done it before and will do it again if we just trust Him.

These bible verses on patience always encourage me and help me see things such as a failed love or heartbreak from a different perspective.

Motivational scripture on patience

2 Chronicles 15:7

But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.

Honestly, the first thing that came to my mind when I first read this verse was ‘Well yes, BUT WHEN?’ (Preferably the exact time and place so I can plan my outfit).

It felt like this verse was just stringing me along. Understanding this sentence, however, required me to do one thing – to look at my life in retrospect.

Once I did that I started smiling and praising God because I remembered the many times when our Lord Jesus Christ came through for me in the past. And how the time I had to wait was nothing in comparison to the spiritual blessings I received afterward.

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Their excitement to write on a blank canvas and create a word that describes their unique self-urges them to tighten their grip.

However, only when they allow us to lead their hand they can fabricate their most beautiful depiction of themselves.

Through this bible verse on patience, God asks us to do the same thing. To let go of what we think our lives should look like and allow him to create the most beautiful version of it yet.
