As you seek the guidance of God, take this time to also draw closer to Him, and as you grow closer to God, He will give you the desires of your heart. 23. I am left heart-broken by my girlfriend of almost 3 years. It wasn’t much compared to other people’s relationships with the same amount of years spent together as we transition from a normal relationship into a ‘Long-Distance Relationship’ after 8 months in our relationship. When we broke up, she left not just me, but me with many unanswered questions. It has been almost 4 months since we last spoke to each other through messages. It didn’t just crush my heart but my whole self, my soul as I am a very introverted person, and the person that only saw my true self was her, I showed her everything of me and she left without even saying a proper goodbye. It made me depressed and very anxious for almost 3 months, I have never gone lower than this lowest point of my life before. I almost killed myself many times already. Until I accepted that she’s gone and she will never come back ever again and I need to live with this reality. As of now, I’m feeling better, moving on and getting over it. I’m keeping myself busy with making myself better, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. One thing is only sure for me, that I would never ever look at love the same way again.

  24. I still love my ex..i cried every night and praying that this pain will end.. I want to forget him, but i don’t know how.. He’s happy now with someone while me? still miserable..please god help me how can i move on.

  25. I was googling some Bible verses on relationships and found your blog, just leaving a comment to say thanks. It’s so important to get into the scriptures when we are having hard times and broken hearts!

Jeremiah 29:11 has been helpful to me in lots of situations. I like the message version where it says,

I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.

What a great thought to know remember God will never abandon us!

Thanks again for sharing these Bible verses and God bless!
