Cute Valentine’s Nails To Try Out In 2025

Valentine’s Nails Ideas

If you are anything like me and love LOVE, then February 14th is a day of celebration.

And to me, it means I have a perfect excuse to venture off to the nail salon and request over-the-top red and pink Valentine’s Day nails.

So I figured this year I’d share my excitement with you and share some of the romantic nail art ideas to try out this Valentine’s Day.

19 Cute Valentine’s Nails to try out this year

1. Different Shades of red and pink

Number one on my list is probably the easiest way to celebrate the month of February. And that is by painting your nails in different shades of red and pink. It’s perfect for girls like me who enjoy their natural nails from time to time and prefer a minimal look. You can easily get it done at the salon or choose to do it yourself.

2. Different Shades of red and pink colored tips

Number two might be harder to accomplish by yourself but is still very cute. While you keep the base of your nails neutral like with a French manicure, you use red, pink, or both for your tips. It’s a playful, modern take for girls who like to keep it simple.

3. Heart-shaped red French tips

One of the latest trends for Valentine’s Day nail designs is heart-shaped French tips. It gives a very unique twist and can be paired with either a neutral nail bed or a sheer pink base.

4. Pink tip with minimal hearts

These nails might not be for everybody but are a perfect Valentine’s Day nail look. A simple glossy nail with a pink tip that has small red hearts on it. You can put the hearts all over or just include one small one at the base or corner of each nail. Super cute and very lovey-dovey.

5. Traditional French tip with minimal hearts

If you liked the last Valentine’s Day nail art but prefer simple designs. Then you might want to try this. Instead of a pink tip, why not a traditional French tip with minimal hearts on it? It’s a design I tried out in the past and absolutely loved.

6. Red and Pink swirls

If you tend to get long nails, then this one is for you. Long almond-shaped nails with red and pink swirls. While this design is not your traditional Valentine’s nail set it basically screams good vibes with a romantic flair.

7. White Swirls

If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that I LOVE this design. White swirls were my go-to nails for a while. And for Valentine’s Day, this design is super elegant and chic.

8. Classic red nails

There is nothing as timeless and elegant as classic red nails. So of course, I had to include it in this list of cute valentines nails. For those of us who want to look cute on Valentine’s Day but refuse to break the bank, this is it. Simply pull out your red nail polish and apply it carefully.

9. Baby Pink Nails

Not a fan of bold red nails? No problem! Try out light pink nails instead. A sheer pink base is all the rage nowadays and fits the Valentine’s Day theme perfectly. Like before, all you need is pink nail polish and some top coat for extra shine.

10. Square Nails with heart overlay

Now this design will take your dedication to the next level. White and pink colored square nails with heart overlay. I have never seen something like that but it looks amazing! But you first have to find a skilled nail tech to create this 3D effect with layered heat decals, you should go for it.

11. Pink Nails with red kiss prints

If you want to switch it up from love hearts, then kiss prints might be a nice alternative. Use a neutral base coat like pink or shite and have them paint tiny lip prints in red for a flirty look.

12. Natural Nails with Black Hearts

If you are tired of red and pink by now then the following design might be more up your alley. Natural Nails with Black Hearts. Keep your base clear or nude and then add a small black heart for the contrast.

13. Metallic hot pink nails plus accent nail

I saw this design and knew I had to include it. Metallic hot pink nails plus in themselves are fun, but by adding a single accent nail to it, you are taking the official color of Valentine to new heights.

 14. Classic French Manicure

Of course, I had to include the good old classic French manicure, because the neutral girls like me it’s a staple. This design will last you way after February 14 and looks good on all nail shapes.

15. Pink Base with candy hearts

This romantic design includes white, red, and pink hearts on a simple pastel pink base coat. It’s playful, fun, and screams “Happy Valentine’s Day”.

16. White base with heart nail art

Of course, you can switch up the last design and use a white base instead of a pink base too making it a little more mature.

17. Colorful Tips with additional lines

This subtle design is a perfect transition into your spring nails. Colorful red, orange, and yellow tips with additional lines on a nude or sheer nail bed.

18. XO Nails

Another very festive manicure are the XO Nails. Here you paint your nails the color of your choice, of course I siggest a light pink or white. But then you include “X” and “O” designs on your nail. You can also add small hearts to emphasize the day of love.

19. Black Tips with Bow Tie Design

Last but certainly not least a very unique design. Black Tips with a bow tie design. Have them do a french manicure with black tips and then add a boy tie design to it. Of course it needs to be a skilled nail tech in order for the design to come out nice.

Which one of these 19 cute valentines nails are you going to try out this year? For me it’s probably going to be number 13.
