Valentine’s Day is around the corner and I can’t wait.
Even though I am married, my husband and I are currently long-distance, so I get to spend the day with my best friends. And ever since my first time in hosting a Galentine’s Day celebration in 2019, I’ve made it an annual event.
It’s a great way to spend quality time with your friend group and the perfect excuse to do something you’ve always wanted to do.
Here are Galentine’s Day party ideas that will make your best girlfriends feel loved.

1. DIY Wine Tasting at home

You don’t need to live in beautiful California or sunny Texaws to plan this. Instead set up a DIY wine-tasting station by ordering your favorite bottles from local wineries or popular wine makers.
You can make it fun by playing guessing games or educating each other on the different wine types. If your girls love wine, then they will love this creative Valentine’s Day idea.
2. Movie night

Of course, a movie night is always a good idea and a perfect Galentine’s Day party idea if your group of friends prefers a cozy night in. You can set up your living room to give movie theatre vibes and offer themed snacks.
And to get everybody hyped, let them pick the movies upfront.
3. Game night

I love a good game night, so I had to include it. And it’s the perfect fun thing to do for a girl group that likes to laugh.
Have everybody bring their favorite card game or come up with your own games. Have your favorite love songs playing in the background and eat some sweet treats.

Feeling adventures? Well, you are in luck. With Valentine’s Day being on a weekend this year, why not take a trip?
Rent a cabin, go hiking, go skiing, etc. Bonus points if you plan something that none of you have done before. What matters is that the trip finally makes it out of the group chat.

Are you one of the lucky people that enjoys good weather in February? Luck you!
In that case, take the girls to the park. Have everybody swing by trader joe before and set up a hearty potluck. This requires little planning but will be a hit.

Last but not least, you could try something completely different – a themed scavenger hunt. I can tell you from experience this is not easy and requires a lengthy planning process, but it’s so worth it.
Have your friends go around your home or city to discover clues. Each clue couple be inspired by someone in the group, which will make your girls feel extra appreciated.
