The plugin takes care of everything: meta tags, post optimization and no follow pages. Even if you don’t know how to make your blog SEO friendly, the Yoast SEO plugin will guide you through it. But the best part is that their instructions are easy to follow even for new bloggers.
You might already have discovered one plugin that is automatically installed on your website. The Akismet security plugin. This plugin helps to protect your blog from spam by filtering through your comments and contact forms. All you need to do is to activate it.
If you haven’t signed up for Google Analytics yet, it’s about time! And once you do, make sure to download Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights. This plugin will save you a lot of time, by showing you key metrics of your website visitors right inside your WordPress dashboard. As the name suggests, this plugin creates Backups of your WordPress blog that you can use to restore your site if needed. An advantage of the UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore plugin is, that you can back up your files into your Dropbox, Google or other cloud space.
Now, this is actually one of the last plugins I downloaded. About a month ago my sight was super slow, and I just couldn’t figure out why.
